Community Fun Day
The Community Fun Day held last November was a great success and AGRA were planning a repeat Fun Day before Christmas this year however the AG Primary School are holding their bi-annual community fete close to Christmas as well. This is also a fund raiser for the school. AGRA member Reny Frighetto has already spent a lot of time organising this years AGRA event however logic is that the two similar programs cannot run close together before Christmas so AGRA have decided not to hold a Family Fun Day this year. Committee members have discussed the timing of the event and whether it should be a biannual event or move it to a March annual event. The members decided that the community fun day should be a Bi-Annual in November. This will be discussed with Ritchie's shortly and subject to the outcome of that discussion AGRA will formalise the dates for our future Family Fun Days. This means that every year residents and visitors to Aspendale Gardens will have the school fete to visit one year or the AGRA Family Fun Day the next year.
